  1. Benny Hill and Kenny Everett are regularly shown on "That's TV" Very little of either is amusing any more.
  2. One of the many beds the cat has made around the house, leaving her basket entirely unused
  3. Lucky for you there’s so much good stuff out there, That’s TV in my region runs back to back Benny Hill and Love Thy Neighbour. You’d love it.
  4. I didn’t include Derry Girls because it’s not a comedy, according to friends who served in Derry it’s a documentary
  5. Begs the question why you sit through them if you find it so tedious, most modern TVs are fitted with an 'off' setting. There are plenty of modern day comedies that are as good as if not better than the ones you quoted. Off the top of my head, Ghosts (UK & US versions), The Cleaner, Motherland, Man Like Mobeen, Young Sheldon, Fleabag
  6. And I admire the way you don’t need to watch the programme to reach your conclusion
  7. You seem remarkably well informed. I admire the selfless way you sit through hours of broadcasting you don’t enjoy so you can have an informed opinion.
  8. I just had to Google Tontine not nearly as salacious as I’d hoped
  9. George Cohen Only Sir Geoff and Sir Bobby still alive from the 1966 World Cup squad now
  10. I can only hope if I suffered the same sort of horrors as Rob Burrow and Doddie Weir that I'd have ten percent of the courage and dignity they showed
  11. Not Trivial or Uninteresting at all tome. Shadow Junior number 1 got married on Saturday I am still the happiest and proudest dad in the world.
  12. The twisting of the “Public interest” line to include sordid gossip like the Giggs saga and Wagnarok have contributed to the decline of journalistic integrity in this country and others. There is a massive difference between “in the public interest” and “the public is interested in….”
  13. The Wetherspoons in Salisbury offers free coffee and tea refills. £1 for hot drinks all day
  14. To answer my own question https://www.arc.id.au/Calendar.html It would seem that in France it was 12th September as they'd already adopted the Gregorian Calendar.
  15. So did the Great Fire start on 2nd September by the Julian or Gregorian Calendar?
