  1. Have you contacted the Club and highlighted the problem? I checked the website and you're right; theres no version of the Club statement released on 24th....I'll mention it to the Directors on Sunday.
  2. There was a Club statement on social media on 24th July confiming this weeks game at Rhyl and next weeks game vs Doncaster at Chester. The Club HOPE to be at Eirias Park for our last and second League 1 game at 'home' to London Skolars. The last sentence of the statement says they have a meeting with Conwy Council this week to discuss what happens going forward...thats all the info so far. The rumour around the fans is that contractors lay the wrong surface at the stadium and it not suitable for rugby! I stress, thats a rumour, but seeing as it was supposed to be in use from 18th June its difficult to understand what else could be causing the delay.
  3. Wins for Dewsbury, Workington and an outside bet on Hurricanes. Cornwall Choughs will push us all the way but I expect a win from Crusaders. Remember this week we are at Rhyl and next week we are back in Chester.
  4. We scored a try, so we did break your defence! Our problem was not finishing sets or poor discipline when we were in good field position, I don't think damage limitation was on our agenda. It took Rams over 20 minutes to score any points, had a second try from a skirmish in the corner and then resorted to taking 2 point penalties. I'd say Crusaders put on a pretty dogged performance.
  5. They told us the same...£5 for a ticket to get into the bar after the game...... the stadium must not want away fans money. Oh! Plus they wouldn't let us put up flags because they didn't have a fire certificate!
  6. Cornwall, Midlands and Skolars is who Id like to see winning but it will be Workington, Doncaster and Hornets. As for us..... I'm not expecting a win, except I may get a prize as its our Annual Bake Off trip. Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie anyone?
  7. To be fair to the Club, our current nomadic status is not of their doing. Its all down to the stadium at Eirias Park and Conwy County Council - who have treated the club very shabbily. There are those of us who will travel to see North Wales Crusaders play anywhere but your point is valid, it puts people off buying season tickets for sure.
  8. I supposed I asked for that! Well done to Workington, definitely the better team today.
  9. Midlands (just) Oldham (just) and Crusaders (just) I'm hoping we get the win we deserved at Workington. Lost by two points on a controversial last kick decision. Workington players celebrated like they'd won the Challenge Cup; I'm hoping to do the same this weekend.
  10. I'd agree with that. It was smart game management and it was then up to Crusaders to break down Yeds defence. Oldham played an intelligent game forcing the game into the Cru half and making us play the length of the field. We were in the game until the drop goal and conceding two tries in quick succession.
  11. Wins for Skolars, Hunslet and Workington.....and a cheeky away win for North Wales Crusaders at Oldham would d very nicely, thank you!
  12. Doncaster Dewsbury Rams North Wales Crusaders (of course!) Oldham This week I'll be playing Masters RL for Wales in Canada!
  13. I though we stopped looking after the ball and trying to force passes or offloads that weren't on....Whatever happened we certainly weren't at the races in the second half and Hunslet had a comfortable win in the end. League 1 now looks like two distinct halfs --- and were in the bottom bit!
  14. I'd love to say "yes" with some certainty but unfortunately they way things have been going at Eirias Park I can't do that. All I can say is our next 3 games will be in Chester RUFC. The pitch at Eirias Park looked finished when I went to watch the Womens game on 11th June...and was supposed to be signed off on Wednesday 14th for insurance purposes. I'm not really sure what the hold-up is. Its very frustrating for home and away fans and even more so for our Directors having to find alternative venues after being promised so much by Eirias Park and Conwy Council.
  15. https://www.northwalescrusadersrlfc.co.uk/post/club-statement-1 North Wales Crusaders will be playing their next 3 home League 1 fixtures at Chester RUFC, Hare Lane, Guilden Sutton, Chester CH3 7DB Due to the incompetence of Eirias Park not ensuring work on the ground was completed in time and signed off for insurance purposes. Many thanks are extended to Chester RUFC for accomodating us.
  16. Three home wins. Please note: North Wales Crusaders (perhaps we should change our name to Wanderers!!) will be playing this game AND the next two home games (2nd July and 16th July) at Chester RUFC, Hare Lane, Gilden Sutton, Chester CH3 7DB We've played there before and its a lovely stadium.....and not that far from North Wales...I'm sure we can bend the border for a few weeks!!
  17. Once again Eirias Park has broken its promise to the club to have the stadium sorted. I was at Eirias Park last weekend for our first womens game and the pitch looked ready appart from clearing some building materials and fencing. I sence we are being messed about. Our Directors are working overtime to get games on at alternative venues and our fans are completely frustrated. The game will be played at Clwb Rygbi Nant Conwy, Pant-y-Carw, Llanrwst LL26 0PW
  18. Yep. Once again Eirias Park has broken its promise to the club to have the stadium sorted. 19. Nothing confirmed yet. I think the the Club, after being promised two weeks ago that Eirias Park would be ready and then being let down, are reluctant to confirm anything in case it doesn't happen. Thats my best guess.
  20. Please note. North Wales v Workington Town has been postponed due to the pitch at Eiria Park not being finished in tome for our first home game since March! Bitterly disappointing for both sets of supporters. Also note. North Wales Crusaders play their first ever game at 1pm on the 4G pitch behind Eirias Park....before anyone asks, this was deemed not to meet RFL minimum standards for League 1. ...so We'll have another home game, away from home vs Workington in July.
