  1. It still remains a scandal that this deal appears to have been brushed under a carpet somewhere. We need a campaigning journalist to dig deep on it. All that money that could have been used for good, wasted on a landfill site.
  2. That's the same issue you get with many events at arenas, theatres etc.
  3. The Sportsman gave that more respect than the BBC did for Leeds/Saints. Felt like a big occasion. That pitch with only the RL markings on looks great as well.
  4. We're really going to see which clubs really value, and see value, in having a competitive women's side, and those who don't.
  5. If I was the tweeter, I'd be going to HR, or worse. For someone who frequently mentions his mental health, he could do with being more tolerant. Does he tweet after every mistake made by his playing and coaching staff? Easy to pick on someone else.
  6. Interesting that Huddersfield suspend him, but Bradford sign him on loan. Odd, in a sense.
  7. In the negative I assume? This paper seemed more upset about the renaming of an award than this case.
  8. I know this is a strange thing to say on an RL forum, but it's actually disgraceful that the Women's Six Nations is on 2/online and that rubbish on 1. Typical forlock tugging nosense. This is a good game though.
  9. Where's the money coming from to pay those though? That's the problem we have as a sport.
  10. Does that fall under "Unacceptable Behaviour" by volunteers that clubs are responsible for under the Operational Rules?
  11. This the Huddersfield who the media didn't question about "going professional"? (Not knocking the players, more the club and their flimsy statements.)
  12. Michael Smith has been on Sky's RL coverage at least once when World Champion, and often shown in the crowd, and talks the sport, and Saints, up to his audience a lot. Joe Cullen is easier to miss, a Wigan fan from Bradford???
  13. Would have been nicer for Leigh's statement on Zak Hardaker's off-field "issues" to have been as wordy as the one on this.
  14. Heard this mentioned on a podcast, but how can Castleford pull out of the Challenge Cup, but play league games when they would have been playing cup ties?
  15. It's on ITV. Roughly at the same time, I think. so amazing planning if so.
  16. Good to re-read Campbell's statement in the paper yesterday.
  17. "FEV DON'T BEAT LEIGH" isn't going to be in any newspaper.
  18. Like the article last week about the start of the women's season, but what's the point if you're not going to mention the games when they're played.
