  1. I was looking for Tonga stuff too, with no luck. The Cook Islands clobber is still on pre-order, it’s not like there’s only 8 days to go until it kicks off or anything.
  2. I used to think that, and if there were it would be a cool name. As it is it’s because they thought of it 100 years after RL broke away, so it’s desperately lame. The Leigh Railwaymen would be better.
  3. I thought it was obligatory to turn every thread on this forum into a discussion about Leigh?
  4. Leigh station, when built, was in Atherton not Leigh. It only became part of Leigh in 1894 when that part of the Atherton township was added to Leigh Urban District. I don’t recognise modern boundary changes like that, Leigh has never had a station.
  5. Great news that, looking forward to wearing a decent Eagles jersey (that is available to buy) next summer.
  6. There is a fair amount of RL played in the USA tbf, agree on Italy and Scotland though.
  7. Cheshire? Don’t you know that post-1974 county boundaries don’t apply on this forum?
  8. Why aren’t they all in the Cook Islands squad then?
  9. What would a full strength Cook Islands be, do you mean if everybody who could possibly play for them did, instead of choosing Australia, NZ, Tonga and Samoa.
  10. I‘ll have a fiver on France to make the quarters at 900/1 if you’re offering Jim
  11. Obviously interesting is a matter of opinion, and even if house assume England and Samoa are going through in Group A it’s not clear who will finish top. Group D is as nailed on as any - 1, Tonga, 2, PNG, 3, Cook Islands 4, Wales.
  12. This one is even worse https://www.eliteprosports.co.uk/product/england-rl-training-tee-1-wht-cyan/
  13. What about someone wafting a pint under your nose when you wake up after a massive all day session?
  14. I wish I shared your confidence, I did a few weeks back before so many players declared for them (which in itself is a ridiculous situation).
  15. And today’s guest is rugby union coach Sir Kevin Sinfield.
  16. A dull second rate indie band imho, but I know I’m in the minority and that they’re very popular so a good choice from the RFL. That said I’m glad I won’t be there to hear the tedious Ruby.
  17. Haven’t they currently got about four domestic clubs, all amateur and playing a season that lasts just a few weeks? It will take a massive change for them to be even as strong as Wales domestically.
  18. Other than England it’s Tonga and Fiji for me - would love to see one of them make the final, as long as it’s not at England’s expense.
