I am always bitterly disappointed when Saints lose, but tonight i don’t feel as bad as usual. York were far better than us and they’re not a shambles when it comes to discipline. I was really pleased for Benno, some Saints fans used to give him horrible abuse, saying “he wasn’t fast/big enough”. He may not be, but id sooner have him on the wing than the whinging whinge bag Feldt. Two pts for me swerving this game and turning down a weekend away in York.

A York win by 4pts. When Saints have finished their 27matches and if they’re still around they’ll need to look at why so many players have got injuries for the 3rd year running. It would help if they stopped signing injury prone players on loan.

My football bets for the season ahead, it can’t be as bad as last season for me or as bad as having Kyle Feldt SL try scorer, Matty Lees MoS for 2026. Anyway £10 each way bets it is so far Salford City 10/1”, “Sheff Wed 6/1”, “Middlesbrough 10/1”. I haven’t done the NL, National League North, or NL South yet as Betfred have no odds. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t bother.

Goodness me that is so sad, i have loved watching him running down the wing he is very entertaining. I hope it’s not as bad as first thought we need players like him. I wouldn’t cheer a try by opponents but i always applaud good play.
