Great player, it was his best match of the season for me so far.

As Saints made substitutions he kept looking up hoping he was the one going off. But for someone whom isn’t the fittest on the pitch he puts in a good stint and he did take a knock early on. Im saying that as someone who hasn’t been his biggest supporter. But he deserves a new one year deal though.

I apologise if this has been mentioned elsewhere but someone told me there was a bit of bother at the Cas game on Friday night. He said “there is a clip of it” on either Twitter or Facebook i can’t remember. I don’t bother with those cesspits so i don’t know if it is true or just fake news as Donald likes to say.

They did sell out, my daughter’s boyfriend tried to get a couple of tickets either standing or sitting but was told all the Saints tickets had been sold. He did leave it a bit late though.

Perhaps the police might’ve been against the Saints fans being in the away end which then would have required police in the ground. That would’ve then seen the price rocket. But i do think it’s sad that only two or three grounds(do Wakey have segregation ?) in the top tier now have stands in which opposition fans can mingle.

Saints had sold their allocation Leonard, but it’s a pity the club don’t sell tickets in the East Stand to home supporters. I wouldn’t have a problem standing with fans from another team. But i suppose the club might think “if we are going to let the public get blitzed on our ground with the ale we are serving them, we are better keeping them in separate stands”. There was quite a few people who had a bit too much to drink and those same people missed large parts of the game as they was at the bar or in the bogs having a wee or having a wee while smoking weed. I am not that keen standing at a game with pished up men & women, i had a couple of mates who was like that yesterday. I should’ve gone in my wet weather pants and my work boots because i would’ve been dryer. But i try and think of a positives when sloshed people are around me and that is Saints will be making a couple of pound from the sale of ale to these alcoholics…….sorry fans. The club must’ve made a tidy sum at the bars last night.

Wigan were giving Saints a run for their money till about the 30th minute then they just forgot the game plan and went rubbish. although French is a top class player. I thought Welsby & Roby were excellent, but it’s about time Roby did something as he has been poor for most of 2023. I’m still not impressed with the Saints kicking game in general play, but i am happy with the two pts.

If i walk it depending on how fast i walk it’s usually 35/40mins. If i am really lazy i can jump on a bus and that takes about 10/15mins. If we are getting pasted tomorrow i will definitely be leaving early as i have to walk home. But i think i’ll be going into town with my mates after the game listening to some drill, trance & Italian Speedcore.

Is there unrest in both camps ?. I think Wire will win, but if Fartown do win it’ll be a cracking victory.

I didn’t realise HKR had dropped down the league so much. I can’t see past a Catalans win, Catalans by 14.

It has to be a Leeds win, i think they might click so Leeds by 30.

It’s got to be Leigh with home advantage. Leigh by 8.

This game is going to be a really close, but i think Saints will be slight favourites. If they do win it’ll only be between 4-8pts. Wigan have a load of pace & danger in their back line, and Andy Farrell is absolute class in the pack. If Saints don’t have any injuries i would keep the same seventeen players they used Vs Fartown. Knowles doesn’t deserve to be put straight back into the first team, he has been rubbish for a while. I do feel sorry for Bennison though. I am looking forward to this match and hopefully I’ll see some excellent RL from both sides, but hopefully a saints win.

Why did you leave Wigan ?.

Those cultists who think officials/RFL are bent, corrupt, cheats will never change. I watched the Hull/Wire game with mates on Sunday and when Wire went 0-12 up one of them said “the RFL are desperate for Wire to win the GF”. I said “how so”, he then came out with a load of guff about the Ref. At FT i asked him about the RFL being hell bent on Wire winning at all costs. He had no reply.

Although id be bitterly disappointed if Saints didn’t win anything this season Harry, it would be great too see a new club lifting the SL Trophy, and a different name being etched onto the CC who have not won it for a while.

Id guess you’re definitely not a Saints fan .
