There was a couple of Cas fans near me and they wanted Saints to win Tex.

I haven’t read any of the comments about the game yet and ive yet to rewatch it but my thoughts. Leeds really gave Saints a match, i don’t think they could’ve give anymore than they did. I do feel they have a chance of winning something next season if they can remain injury free in their spine. Everyone sees a game differently but Blake Austin & Hardaker were fantastic for Leeds. As like most people Lomax was my MoM, but also Sironen, Bennison had cracking games. But i have to give a special mention to Hopoate, he may have only walked or jogged for most of the match but his try saving tackle on Martin (i think it was) stopped a certain try. The two Leeds tries were crackers especially the first one. I have never had a bad spec at OT, but the constant going to the bar every 5mins by some fans is a ball ache. The Saints fan who ran on the pitch what a fool i am hoping he gets a fine and is banned from every RL ground. That also goes to the Leeds fans who threw bottles at Makinson at FT, i hope they are dealt with but i always get the feeling because it’s RL the pitch-invading, bottle throwing fans get away lightly as “RL IS A FAMILY GAME”. Finally Liam Moore he officiated the match really well.

Bloody hell dkw i didn’t know NME had a station, i’ll have to try and get that on DAB. When i know Craig Charles or other DJ’s come on playing dance stuff i switch off.

Checklist For Fans going to the GF 1. Tickets 2. Glasses (for some) 3. Loads of Ale (to drink on the coach and outside the ground). 4. INFLATABLE BLOODY B****** Beachballs.

If we (Saints) lose i’ll be disappointed, but i won’t hold it against the RFL & the officials. Although those officials are so corrupt, they love Leeds & hate Saints, but most of all i blame Phil Clarke, Tezzer & Bazzer. Will someone please count the number of times Wilkin starts a sentence with “Look”, im saying eight times.

When i get chance to listen to 6 Music i only listen to Steve Lamacq, Marc Riley, Gideon Coe. I don’t bother with the stuff before it and i give the weekend a big wide berth with all that dance, rap, soul, deep house, soulful house, Italian Speedcore, stuff with Craig Charles.

If the neutral fans want Leeds to win how can they be neutral ?.

I have just read the stats on arrests at football grounds and public disorder outside of stadiums and it looks grim. We do seem to be going backwards with some fans behaviour, it looks as if it’s a badge of honour for some of these fools to be banned from football grounds. I am glad the police are really clamping down on the idiots. I don’t think RL is as strict, id imagine the Salford fan who threw the pyro onto the pitch on Saturday didn’t get taken away by the stewards and will not be facing a ban from attending RL matches.

I didn’t witness any crowd trouble last season Vs Catalans bar a couple of young French lads in their twenties trying to have a fight with a toilet cubicle about 5mins walk from the stadium. I definitely didn’t see any in 2020, nor any in 2019, but i have see bother in the other GF’s ive been too. So i am hoping to see another final without any pished up fans who end up fighting with their own supporters. A 6pm KO does give some fans plenty of time to get smashed before the match though and partake in taking illegal substances. Why anybody would want to do that is something i still find baffling. But touchwood it’ll be a trouble free night, with no rain and mild as well and a great game. As long as Saints don’t win it the cheating Scouse B*******.

I only go on this site Stanley so i don’t know which site you mean. But id imagine every club site has fans who are so blinkered no matter how many times you explain things to them and show them the evidence they will not admit their club was wrong.

I agree with all of that Fevrover bar the last four words. Although id be willing to give up Saints winning the GF if it meant Australia don’t get to the RLWC Final.

Football & Credibility. I don’t see them going together either. But it doesn’t seem to affect football fans with all the poor decisions & diving that happens in their sport. Id imagine out of the 37,000 Leeds Utd fans that turn out every other week, not many have said “im done with football, it’s the Leeds Rhinos for me and my lad next season”. Next year the Rhinos attendances will be pulling in the same gates as SRD, as they would have all jumped ship and gone watching the peacocks .

Wouldn’t he have fixed it so Saints won the challenge cup ?.

I’ll be there and i’ll be shouting for Leeds.

All these Leeds fans packing in watching their RL club. How will the club be able to fill those two lovely new stands with fans if you’re not going anymore. Do you think the Fev club could get volunteers Fevrover, and dismantle one of their stands and put it on one of the touchlines at Fev. They did a fantastic job with the Scarborough stands.

David Icke has just been talking about the Morgan Knowles case and he said something about “Lizards, Scientology and the British Monarchy”.

I couldn’t have put that better Chris22 as im a bit of a dumbo when it comes to writing stuff out like you have. But I too feel very uncomfortable with what’s gone on, and now we will at this moment in time be hated more than Philip Schofield. I hope he doesn’t turn up in a Saints kit at OT that’s all we need.

I’m speechless about what has gone on MjM but i would never say the sport is rigged or corrupt, i could never stand in front of someone who is involved in RL played the game, officiated, a chairmen & directors and say to them they are corrupt or have rigged a match etc etc. But questions need to be asked and everyone involved in the sport needs to be told what is going on. I don’t watch the NRL but id guess they don’t get problems like this ?.

Blimey you’ll stick with football, do you think Football is a sport that the RFL should look up to for fair play. All i hear from my football following friends is that the FA are not fit for purpose and are corrupt. Although i do have a nephew who is a big fan of the Belarusian Football League as he watches it on something or other and he follows Shakhtyor. He said everything is clean cut and aboveboard in their League, but i don’t know if he was being sarcastic.
