I'm digging the kids' old popcorn maker out of the loft and ordering a big sack of popping corn on the off chance Fev do win...

And you could also add Tony Smith's own club at the time Huddersfield who didn't improve until p&r was reintroduced

Sky are showing the game, presumably taking the feed from BEIN and adding their own commentary

Whilst I'd guess everyone on here would like to see that (pipe) dream come true, it just isn't going to happen. -
Craig Hall, Championship Player of the Year Full list of winners here. Slightly surprised Gary Charlton didn't win Coach of the Year https://rugby-league.com/article/36086/betfred-championship-and-league-1-awards-–-winners-announced

Is it the Tony Smith anti PR spiel time of the year already?

Nothing in the Salary Cap Rules either. -

I'm pretty sure that's a forum myth. There is nothing in the Operational Rules to say SL players must be FT. -
Yes, would definitely be a bit of a leveller (warm and dry forecast for Toulouse). As I've posted on the main forum one of the outsiders winning on Saturday wouldn't be that much of a shock to me but (and I'm pretty sure you agree) backing that up the following week would be unlikely. I only hope that Covid plays no part in any of the 3 games coming up.

One of them reaching the final wouldn't be too much of a shock to me although I think it's very unlikely that either would be able to repeat the feat the following week to gain promotion. Looking back over the season there have been very few shock results so maybe we're due one? I only hope that Covid doesn't play any part in it all -
I'll just add that the NHS app QR code is recognised in France to demonstrate your vaccination status

I think funding will still be based on previous year's finishing position which for those in the playoffs is decided by results in the playoffs rather than league standing. It's slightly different this year with 2 teams rather than 1 going out in each round up to the final so the 2 losers from last week may class as equal 5th, the 2 losers from the coming weekend equal 3rd and losers in the GF 2nd. Relegated team will likely get highest funding.
