Peterlee are only putting one side out this year, a lot of the first team from the last 2 or 3 year are either away at Uni or have joined the forces so the committee only entered one team into the league.

First games this weekend with first round of cup being played next Wednesday evening.

Darlington aren't able to raise a team by the looks of things, hopefully that will change

Hopefully they can, would be a shame to lose another team in the region after we have already lost 3 clubs from last season.

The top division seems to lose a lot of clubs which is a shame but inevitable with a small, strong division.

Think the main cause for top division losing a lot of clubs is teams going up who aren't quite ready for it and then get battered each game so players lose interest.

Yeah seems to be that way, also the league seems keen to promote teams to make up the numbers in the top flight. Sunderland was a sad loss though as they were the oldest non-heartland club. In the midlands we eventually just went for one big division (currently 12 clubs), although our better premier division sides stepped up to Conference League South to make that work
