Richard Marshall - The next big thing

Keep an eye on Richard Marshall the current Halifax coach. Following on from Daryl Powell's success he'll be the next coach from the Championship to move up to SL and make an impact whether that's with Halifax or another team.

He was on Warrington's coaching team last year, has also come through the system as an England youth coach. Halifax have steadily improved through the year and their Super 8 performances have been solid reflecting his high coaching standards.

Maybe a shout as Salford coach next season?

Shhhhhhhhhhh!  Quality coach but also has brought in a some top people to help like Marlon Billy (Assistant) and Conditioner Andy Holleyhead (Conditioner). Its a well known Fact that Fax have cut their budget and even Dewsbury (Dewsbury ran a reserves team) spent more than Fax this year on Players wages than Fax. Marshall is a top coach and is highly regarded in the game. Fax did very well to get him and can see him coaching SL and maybe England at sometime. Having come through the Academy at Halifax and spent a few years as a player he obviously has a soft spot for Fax and not sure he would leave in the next year or so unless he feels he has taken Fax as far as he can.
