Hvy wg
Definitely Menzies, and then I am torn between Taia, Whitehead and Anderson. One thing in favour of Louis Anderson could be how well he seems to have integrated into local life and culture; whether that is a relevant factor in this particular context, I am not sure! Louis is a keeper but not quite on Whitehead/Taia's level when it comes to playing. He was always 3rd choice at second row when both of them were still here. audois
We're there now. Last position. Greg Mounis the only one left from that first historic opener at Aime-Giral against Wigan. The most celebrated French player and Catalan born and bred - ahead with 250 + appearances in the sang-et-or. Greg Bird a chaotic year in Perpignan 2009 but pulled the team towards its first ever SL semi-final. A World Cup winner with the Kanrgaroos in 2013. Jason Baitieri a link to the past as his dad was in charge of PSG on the opening weekend of SL two decades earlier. audois
Looks like they may well crack the ground record on 2nd July. Looks like the Puig Aubert stand behind the posts already sold out. Biggest to date was Wire on Easter Monday 2012 with 11,526. Think they had around fifty or more there for the World Cup game against Samoa. That sounds like the capacity. They're averaging 9,665 so far this year - their highest ever. Last weekend their business club group (450 members) couldn't find sufficient space in the new stand and had to re-locate for their post match reception to the Golf Club at nearby St Cyprien. Club believed to be putting pressure on the public authorities to complete the stadium by the re-development of the smaller Laborde-Guasch stand. Would imagine that could raise the capacity to around 14,000. Exciting times.
