Manfred Mann
Dallas Johnson was only there for one season and didn't have such a big impact. Greg Bird was captain for his year there and had a bigger impact. 1. Clint Greenshields 2. Damien Blanch 3. Vincent Duport 4. Adam Mogg 5. Justin Murphy 6. Thomas Bosc 7. Stacey Jones 8. David Ferriol 9. Eloi Pellissier 10. Remi Casty 11. Steve Menzies 12. Gregory Mounis 13. Greg Bird 14. Jamal Fakir 15. Jerome Guisset 16. Zeb Taia 17. Julien Rinaldi 18. Manfred Mann
If you invited a team which did not include members of the current team (who will be there anyway), the best selection would be: 1. Clint Greenshields 2. Damien Blanch 3. Darryl Millard 4. Adam Mogg 5. Justin Murphy 6. Scott Dureau 7. Stacey Jones 8. David Ferriol 9. Ian Henderson 10. Alex Chan 11. Elliot Whitehead 12. Steve Menzies 13. Greg Bird 14. Jamal Fakir 15. Jerome Guisset 16. Zeb Taia 17. Julien Rinaldi 18. Dallas Johnson
BroncoFan
Elliott Whitehead had a great impact at Catalan, he developed into a test player there. Everything under the sun is in tune But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
westlondonfan
There has to be a place for Greg Bird too, he was phenomenal I was just thinking the same thing as I read through this thread. Half the time he was travelling to and from Australia in between matches for his court case as well. (I accept that had something to do with his own behaviour though!) audois
First choice surely Justin Murphy who arrived unheraled playing for UTC. SLs top try scorer in their debut year when finishing bottom. Best strike rate of 49 tries in 59 games impressive - ahead of Damien Blanch with 42 tries in 70 games. If Michael Oldfield had continued his first year form he could well have been in contention but second campaign blighted by injury. Think players who arrived this year are excluded in the voting. audois
Gone for Adam Mogg and Vincent Duport in the centres. The Australian played Origin for Queensland the season before he arrived in Perpignan. A major cog in the Dragons set-up in those early years. Led from the front getting them to Wembley and that outstanding 3rd place finish the year after. Vincent maybe first teenager to play for the Dragons in 2007 having arrived from Avignon. Had two campaigns blighted by serious injuries and for some bizarre reason had an odd year out playing for Toulouse. Good professional with approaching 150 games in the sang-et-or and with 65 tries plus to his name - only second to Greenshields (85) in the all-time records "It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires" - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933 "Just as we had been Cathars, we were treizistes, men apart." - Jean Roque, Calendrier-revue du Racing-Club Albigeois, 1958-1959 Si tu( Remi Casty) devais envoyer un fax au Président Guasch? wackojacko
Mostly this just underlines how fantastic most of Cats' kits have been. Only Setaimata Sa's that I'm not overly enamoured with there.

Hvy wg
As centres, Mogg and Duport for me.Moggs was outstanding. Duport is just a French success story. Has had more than just a couple injuries, always came back. Good amount of tries, too. His association with Millard was lethal.
audois
Some choice with this one. French-English-Australian. Local lad with 200 games plus under his belt - one of the Dragons best ever. Uniquely a superb, talented all-rounder, full-back, winger half back and now hooker. Was Leon at his very best at the Bulls as an athletic, evasive centre? Guasch wanted him to get them a title. Ditto for Carney. The Australian a classic out-and-out stand off haute de gamme. Will he deliver. wackojacko
Got to be Bosc. Carney has been good when he's not been injured but he's not set the league alight whereas Bosc has been a great servant for a decade.
audois
Stacey got them to Wembley via the HJ against Wigan. Iconic and world class. Dureau only second to Bosc in points recorded in just four years. Considered very ordinary in NRL but the only Dragons player to be nominated twice for the Dream Team 2011/12. Got a tumour, got back to Australia and returned a very ordinary player.

audois
French involvement for this original selection minimal this being their first decade - hopefully with the Academy now up and running next one will be more fruitful. So here a stab at what the French selection Federation trained could be. 1 Escare 2 Khattabi 3 Baile 4 Duport 5 Cardace 6 Gigot 7 Bosc 8 Ferriol 9 Pelissier 10 Casty 11 Fakir 12 Raguin 13 Mounis "It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires" - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933 "Just as we had been Cathars, we were treizistes, men apart." - Jean Roque, Calendrier-revue du Racing-Club Albigeois, 1958-1959 Si tu( Remi Casty) devais envoyer un fax au Président Guasch?
