Exhausting watching that one.

There was plenty happening and you couldn't tell who was going to win, basically the two most important ingredients.

So Eels are paying a big penalty after all. It's more death by a thousand cuts than a knockout punch.

It's an unfortunate year for the players. They now need to win 11/12 and they only have 2 games against better-placed teams. I don't see the point in moving Gordon on and I can't see the point in him going to the Chooks. I know they planned to replace Gordon with Bevan French but I can't see what they achieve by doing it now.

French looks like a raw talent, but it's early days for him.

Eels are now in a fire fighting mode... of their own making.

As you say it is the players and fans who you can have sympathy for.

Still given how other teams have faced their consuquences it's only right.

Still hard though.

Parramatta were lucky to get the win there.

They lost their concentration for a while and  although they hung on with dogged and never-say-die defence they won at a price with injuries and the news that they are still leaking players.
