NRL SUPERCOACH 2017 TotalRLSCLeague17 FINAL POSITIONS ...TOTAL POINTS and HEAD2HEAD Chat Here; 2018 EARLY CHAT/NEWS

Recommended Posts

Some decent scores up and down the ladder in R22 which settled our Head2Head League Positions for the season and d ou the fixtures for the irst round of the Head2Head Finals Series

James and James shared one of the higher scores this week with1153 points. Top scorer (thanks for pointing it out JimBronco - see below) was AshnJake -Stew- with 1161 points.Well done those of you who got over 1,100 points. Scoring form seems to have shifted in the last few weeks. many of us will be largly settled with our squads now as we probably have few if any trades left with just four rounds left to play.

Good luck all.

The points total league continues intil the completion of Round 26 of the regular season. This comp does not continue into the NRL Finals Series.

Here then are the two the scores from R22 have been factored in:

FINAL HEAD2HEAD LADDER FOR SEASON 2017FINALS SERIES NOW IN PROGRESS

N.B. In the H2H competition the teams which finished in placed 17  to 20 are eliminated at this point. They still continue in the points competition.

In the Premiership H2H comp the top 8 teams compete against each other with the top four teams who win go through to week 3 while top four losers conmpete again in Wk2

Look at the diagrams below

The Minor Premiership is for teams that finished in places 9 to 16 in the H2H season.

Well there's just three normal rounds left which will see the culmination of our efforts in both competitions.

The H2H league ladder was finalised last week after R22 so those positions are fixed now for 2017. The H2h finals comps for the top 16 got underway this week with the Premiership being decided among the top 8 finishing teams and the Minor Premiership being held between teams 9 to 16. The top 4 teams in each of these get a second chance if they lose in R1, while the winning two top  teams go straight into R25 Preliminary Finals (the third week)

The Total Points League continues to the end of Round 26. It doesn't go on into the NRL Finals Series.

Let's see how things went in R23 fixtures then:

59916f5baf363_H2HFixturesRound23.jpg.645a77ad2d342b9d71e020dc3f284e8b.jpg

These are the top 16 scores. For the other four teams, please see the Total Points Ladder in the appropriate column.

14/16 teams scored over 1,000 points in that round - great! 8/16 were in the 1100's! I managed to get into the 1300's with a very similar line up to last week when I just managed to creep over 1,000. it wasn't down to my choice of captain either - just a seesawing of point scoring form one week to the next, which seems to have happened more this season than in the past, or is that just for me?

Here then is the Total Points Ladder which is ongoing:

599170d497864_PointsAfterRound23.thumb.jpg.0f08516e1f2e3ffc6f1521cb4313f917.jpg

Wow! There's a lot to play for up and down the whole league with three rounds still to play.

Just to remind you how we finished in the H2H league last week here's the Final H2H ladder showing our FINAL POSITIONS going into the play offs.

I won't post this ladder again as it is here to refer to and won't change.

Remember that by clicking on these images you can enlarge them to see clearer details if necessary.

Here's how the first week of the main H2H Finals Series went based on the results above:

599172a3659ef_H2HFINALSAFTERWEEK12017.jpg.e15defa4c7a84b0a563f619e3792fe68.jpg

It's James (McK M) and 1 that go straight into Week 3 sitting the H2Hs out this coming weekend and James (FLCS) David (ASE) who live to fight another day in Wk 2.

Well done to all the winners, hard luck if you were knocked out. it was a significant achievement getting into the top 8 of the ladder. Better luck next season.

Now for the Minor Premiership battles. here's what those fixtures saw this comp unfold:

599173b80179c_H2HFINALSAFTERWEEK1Minor2017.jpg.95c46928bf0ca4884260ff514161bd82.jpg

Well done Stew and Brad who proceed to Week 3 Simon and David (ThR) get another chance. Better luck next season if you were eliminated this week.

Before I finish I would very much appreciate advice on my captain selection which has been my Achilles Heal this season.

Good luck this weekend.

All the best,

Graham

St George Illawarra have suffered a huge blow ahead of Friday night's crunch NRL clash with Brisbane with four players expected to be ruled out before kick-off.

Dragons coach Paul McGregor revealed two players had come down with the flu while another two suffered injuries at training in Brisbane on Thursday.

He refused to name the players.

"No, I can't tell you but we've had an eventful morning," McGregor said.

"Two guys stayed in bed this morning because they were ill with flu and we lost two at training today.

"We brought 21 players up so we have coverage.

"We came up a day early on Wednesday thinking we would get the jump but a couple of guys woke up under the weather and now this (injuries)."

The ninth-placed Dragons need to notch their first win over the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium since 2009 to maintain their hunt for a top-eight spot.

Have to say bit inconsiderate of the chap not to name them, could affect our premiership!

Thanks for the heads up.

Will need to watch the team announcement before the game starts tomorrow - K.O. about 10:50 am UK time

I thought that once the first game started no changes could be made to your team.

St George Illawarra has been dealt a massive blow on the eve of their clash with Brisbane with winger Nene Macdonald ruled out and reports Tyson Frizell has rolled his ankle.

Frizell has been kept in the squad for now, as Taane Milne comes in on the wing.

Another two Dragons players have fallen ill but Paul McGregor refused to reveal names - still keeping coy then...

Ben Hunt has been cleared of a shoulder and hand injury.

Supercoach alert: Cooper Cronk is being rested by Craig Bellamy.and won't play in Storm's Saturday R24 game v Knights.

Excuse me Bellyache did I give permission  that he could be rested from my team.  There it goes my chance of eliminating the fantasy guru.

I have also accepted  take over bid from Australian Phonetics and Australian KFC and next season my team will be known as         "The Dayboo Sliders"

Some decent scores in that round.

The Total Points league continues much as before.

Why not let us know what your thoughts are?

The Supercoach season is fast approaching it's end, with the finals series half way played with what we here would now call the semi finals places booked in the H2H comp.

In the H2H it is Rhys who progressed this week to face me n the coming round and James (FCS) who moved forward to meet James(McKM)

599a9841602d7_MInorPremierFixturesR242017.jpg.73bfe42e6aa3fbd2660e8a623a7c3754.jpg

599a9a103fca3_H2HFINALSWEEK2Minor2017.jpg.478affbad93404bb7fa9ec319d71dbbd.jpg

In the Minor Premiership it is James (LOD) who now meets Stew and David who progresses to meet Brad in the next round.

So the next two weeks are the last two.

They see the culmination of all our efforts.

David looks nailed on to take our Total Points title this season with a points buffer of 446.

James and I are much closer so I live in hope... (should that be faint hope?)

Your comments are welcome.

I wish you good luck.

Remember to look out for last minutes injury withdrawals.

As usual, that captaincy decision you make will likely make all the difference to your chances of victory.

Enjoy your Rugby League.

Graham

Where has the Supercoach season gone? No sooner has it started , it seems that we are entering the final week.

Round 26 concludes both the Supercoach Points and Head2Head competitions.

What a roller coaster of a season it has been!

Hope you have enjoyed being a part of one of the best comps we've run on here for a few seasons.

First of all then in this penultimate week let's take a look at the Total Points Ladder:

David looks safe in top position there with a 400+ point buffer, still ... James is still in there...

There's a fantastic competition going on there up and down the ladder for places,

Good luck to all as we throw the dice for the last time this season in the next few days. One more important captain decision to make! Scary!

Here then are the results of the Head2Head fixtures this week in both the Premeirship and Minors.

59a3e3c903e2e_H2HFixturesRound25.jpg.fa2c15b5e5bf4793e725e0abb4bb5533.jpg

Against anyone else, James (McKM) would have proceeded but James (FCS) had other ideas.

Congratulations on you Grand Final place James, hard luck James.

I've managed to grab the other GF place in a tussle with Rhys and his TheYearTwo, who no doubt will be gunning for revenge in TheYearThree

Here's how the H2H Premiership Draw has worked out then:

With a giant score who knows where David could end up in the overall NRL Supercoach Positions?

Now let's see what this week's results have done to the Minor Premiership draw:

So then, it's Stew (AshnJake) and Brad (skimming) who will fight it out for the Minor Premiers title this season.

Hard luck David (TRabs) and James (LOD).

So as I said when I started this post, just one more week left.

Check back here then next week at this time and we'll then now the final positions of everything NRLSupercoach, especially our TotatalRLSCLeague17.

Then it will be a rest for us all until we all lock horns again for TotalRLSCLeague18

All the best,

Graham

Surely nobody has any trades left?

If you have what was your thinking?

I used my last about two weeks ago.

I have had a position of almost all of my squad being current available players who are regular picks for their clubs. I just have one player currently injured.

Have you managed to increase the value of your squad over the season?

Have you made any resolutions for next SC season while you think on?

Congrats to Graham and James on making the GF! And good luck! ??

I'm still kicking myself for not starting Semi over Roberts, otherwise I would be in the GF...and I really wanted to win it! ?

Well how close was the H2H Grand Final:

Just five points separated us.

Well done then to James and his Flat Capper Select who is the 2017 Head2Head Champion.

Congratulations James on your great H2H season. You are a worthy winner.

Now for our season long Total Points Competition:59ad005c22498_TotalPointsFINAL2017.thumb.jpg.7ba6b1a3bda12336c597835fedb19e43.jpg

Our worthy Champion this season is DAVID and his ANLEY SEA EAGLES

59ad01b268099_PointsChampion2017David.jpg.8675225b32939edd092aa3797e94d80f.jpg

David has had a magnificent season, his team having finished in the top 1,000 in the overall SC 2017 competition, no mean feat when you know there were 132,321 entrants in this season's SC Comp.

Well done David and to everyone else in this season's competitions on here.

Thanks for taking part.

Let's hope we can all meet up again for SC2018 Season.

All the best,

Graham
