SpotTheBall85
Did Oldham play South Sydney in the late 90s, early 2000s? Can vaguely remember going to a game at Boundary Park and sure it was against South Sydney but can find no info on it. Pretty sure it was a draw. The Art of Hand and Foot
Yes they did. South's had been thrown out of the nrl or whatever they where calling it at the time. They were on a tour of the UK drumming up support. There was an article in the league express a couple of years ago showing the differences in the 2 club's since that game. roughyed34
It was 2000 we played South's, George Piggins(?) Of South's made an impassioned speech on the pitch about South's plight etc. Still got a program somewhere from that game, can't remember the score 20-20 maybe?. Tere Glassie who played for us was in that South's squad.

Watersheddings was great
Yes he was. Really bad night plenty of rain teams had to warm up on Clayton playing fields. First game with Fordy in charge.

roughyed34
It could quite easily have been that score pal. They played Leigh and Keighley too iirc. Was having a look but can't find much info on that game, forgot we also played Manly in 2003 losing 26-27.
