I really like Australia, have visited a few times and have family there. But we shouldn't play down that the UK is a beautiful part of the world to live in.

I really like Australia too my wife is Australian and I lived there for 3 years and have  permanent residency (or did have I think permanent residency is anything but permanent in Aus) but I much prefer living in Yorkshire and the UK in general
