I posted this on the French RL thread but it may be of general interest

 

For those that can get it, a new series starts from the 28th charting the history of Rugby League in France.

This is the Info link

 

I will try and see if there is a Facebook/Youtube channel closer to the date if anyone is interested

@Kayakman you might be interested 

Basically when rugby league was established it was.very much like.australia where league was on.the cusp.of taking over from union

Many leading union clubs were about to.go.broke

The lack of support from the heartlands is problematic in this regard.

With guys like.argyle.and especially Perez I have a lot of hope 

Who knows maybe in ten years time there could.be 4.canadian super league clubs backed by a decent tv deal 

And by then you.could actually be producing some players 

Im along.for.the journey its certainly been exciitng so far 

I can see.you becoming one of the top super league clubs 

You.can see it in the people argyle gets like noble McDermott.and bob hunter

League has never had such a well.funded expansion club ever
