Great to hear the noisy fans from Hornets and Mayfield on BBC’s streaming of the draw, with two ex-Mayfield lads (Jack Ashworth & Matty Lees) ensuring that both clubs got home ties:

Hornets v York Acorn (newly promoted to this season’s Premiership) and Mayfield v North Wales Crusaders over weekend 8/9 Feb.

Interviews with Matt Calland & Mayfield’s Chairman adding to the local colour.

Hopefully better result for us than when we play York teams!

Great draw for the town of Rochdale should be a good weekend of rugby.

BBC fixtures give our home game with York Acorn @3pm on 9 Feb; Mayfield v NWC at home on 8th 2pm. Perhaps a bargain ticket to attend both games?

Lets get as many Hornets fans over to Mayfield for their game on the 8th and visa versa for the Hornets game on the 9th.. A great weekend for the town of Rochdale

Would be brilliant to be able to get a joint ticket to both however going off splitting the gate to the two games and the, at present, strained relationship between the two teams i cant imagine it happening
