Teams not wanting to come to Perpignan (Merged Threads)

The prestigious Ligue football was denied a finish unlike in Germany, Spain, England and Italy elites. The French government likely to recompense  them in September- all being well. Top 14 and Pro2 kick off the same time also. The 5000 figure here was introduced from 11th July for all types of events not just sporting. They are presently looking at how bigger crowds can be managed going forward.

The French Elite competitions should see a start-up from October for their Elite 2 with Elite 1 a month later I understand. Crowds rarely pass 2000 so the no problem with capacities

"It involves matters much greater than drafting the new rules...the original and existing games have their own powerful appeal to their players and public and have the sentiments which history inspires"  - Harold 'Jersey' Flegg 1933

Si tu( Remi Casty) devais envoyer un fax au Président Guasch? " Un grand bravo pour ce que vous avez fait,et merci de m 'avoir embarqué dans cette aventure"

Does any one have an idea when the September fixtures are confirmed.

I think the fixtures, with dates have already been confirmed.  This is a link to the relevant Sky Sports News webpage:

https://www.skysports.com/rugby-league/news/12204/12029511/super-league-21-games-in-29-days-in-august-as-fixtures-for-rest-of-2020-regular-season-are-revealed

What isn't yet officially confirmed is where and at what time of day matches from the start of September onwards take place.  However, that hasn't stopped Catalans Dragons, for instance, advertising the fixtures in which they are the first named team as 'home' matches, albeit with no KO time, presumably to be played in front of a crowd of at least 5,000.
