Yes. If the majority of Championship clubs wanted to play on the would have done. They don't so they haven't. 

And the SL TV money is essential for the Championship and League 1, where do you think the RFL gets its central distribution money from?

And to stop Championship and League 1 sides, who rely on the same TV money, going belly up too.
