Pre-Season Games 2021

Recommended Posts

If everything goes to the governments planned dates for starting back with friendly fixtures, we will be running our annual Overs v Under's as our first hit out on the 24th/April/2021, this fixture has been used as a fund raiser in the past and has easily netted us between £3,000.00 and £4,000.00 on the day, with covid restrictions we will be happy to raise between £400.00 and £500.00,  we will follow this up the following weekend with a friendly at home against Dearne Valley Bulldogs.

Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.

Spectators

No spectators are allowed at training or matches as part of step one of the Government’s roadmap, unless for safeguarding purposes which should be limited to one parent or carer per child. Again we are anticipating this will change as we progress through the roadmap.

How can clubs enforce no spectators if they play on a open field?

Not sure about that one at the moment, but the RFL can stop the team from playing if they think it's not safe.
