Carcassonne and Lézignan were one - two in the league and reversed places in the Grand final, won 16-12.

I put a piece on the season here, tucked away in the France section for those who venture beyond the General one.

Does anyone know about the Cup? It's got the name Challenge de France due to only Elite One sides taking part.

Thanks, SB. I've just put a series of articles on each Elite One club over the past 20 years. They can be viewed by going to the site and clicking on France Club under labels.

As for attendance figures, the Covid messes them up badly as we know. It will be nice to get a full season of normal attendance figures although the was this pandemic is proceeding, its in no hurry to move along so 'normal' could be sometime off.

Very often even the clubs don't announce them.

My wife complains I selfishly stop her fulfilling her true ambition -

she really wants to be a rich widow
