Yes, and being in last place the temptation is to pick some ‘differential’ choices to gain ground at risk.

From what I gleaned on Sunday the US commentary teams were blaming a lack of a proper pre season for some of the poor execution on plays like wild snaps etc on field goals.

I must admit that i'm not upto speed as i normally am, but the pre-season was normal wasn't it?

Normal in that the starters only play about 15 mins..

There’s now less preseason to accommodate the longer regular season they said.

Also teams are now much more reluctant to risk starters in the reduced amount of pre-season.

That was the US commentary take on it anyway.
