The new club should be focused on creating it's own, unique story across the next 25 years, not being some pastiche zombie re-imagining of a dead club that - let's be honest here - barely has any heritage of success to shout about anyway.  Hopefully common sense will prevail...!!

I don’t know what else Perth would have to do to be awarded an NRL franchise as they practically tick all the boxes for being ripe for expansion. Big city. New Expansion area territory.

Yes, including the Bears and their ludicrous demands would be a terrible mistake - so it's likely V'landys is pushing for that to happen.
