It’s a long way off personally but it’s high up on the bucket list. I’d love to design it around watching rugby league in the south of France.

Could any of our French posters or those more in the know than I be able to recommend the best possible stops?

I’ve already pencilled in:

- Avignon

- Toulouse

- Cahors

- Albi

(not fussed on Perpignan/Catalans as done it 3 times already)

Carcassonne

I was planning a road (well, train, really) trip like this for 2025 RLWC … sigh

I had already been looking at campsites and Aires...I was going to drive over in our motorhome for the duration.

Not a bad way to do it mate.  Heck of a lot of places to park up with ‘the camping car’ .  Plenty used to park up right on the coast side road between Candy and St.Cyprien Plage.

Some of those pull ins along the road from Port Leucate up to Narbonne interesting though.  Always had a Lady looking after them. 😉

We are near Tarbes if anyone fancies dropping in. Great lake near us Lac de l'Arrêt Darré, with a great little café in the summer. Happy to host anyone passing by.
