I admire his honesty. Far too many players hang around for another pay day when they shouldn’t. Some players want to play forever because they simply love it. But most players reach a point where they have had enough, their heart just isn’t in it anymore.

Reece has clearly accepted this and wants to do other things. He’s happy to play part time, and he won’t let Donny down. If other players did the same then the game would dramatically improve. Ditto the clubs who continue to buy into past reputation.,
