Shock result that.

It’s good to see the Leopards get over the line after some decent performances lately. It was Round 9 when they narrowly lost to Carcassone by one point.

I wouldn’t say shock, they’ve been very unlucky this season but they do have a great side so good to see them finally get a win. Hopefully they will build from this result. A lot of really talented youngsters in the Villeneuve Side.

Just finished re watching.

Really good display for Lezignan against a poor Limoux side. Limoux made way too many errors and conceded some very easy tries in defence.

Every time lezignan would shift the ball wide they would break the line even without an overlap. Guys like Sestre and Jasmin were very poor.

Lezignan scored some pretty simple tries but really good displays from Brocas, Montiel, Marty and Martin.

Clement Martin is only 18 years old but has been staring on the wing the Lezignan, he has some serious potential.

Also shoutout to Thibault Marty who made one of the greatest try savers I’ve ever seen in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Didn’t the winger get five tries?

Probably, Pedrero is a joke. Stopped counting after the 3rd one.

Edit- Yes he did, he has got to be clear and away the top try scorer in elite 1 now.

Next time I see them I’ll post the top try, goal and points scorers lists.

Clément Martin turned 19 yesterday and scored a great try fending off ford then Santo to beat him for pace, the tries weren't that simple and nice tries to watch,

Thibaut Marty is 21 and is selected in the squad for the Catalan game as is Luc Brocas.

I meant “simple” as in how poor the Limoux defence was. Lezignan were easily breaking the line.

Looks like a good crowd at Albi (not on the far side- but the main stand looks well populated)

Good standard of play so far. HT 20-6. Albi look like they could hold their own in the Championship

Crowd actually not that big, compared to previous games at The Mazicou. No idea why ? The conditions were mild but maybe the earlier ko at 1800 put some of the die-hards off ?

An easy win for the home side with Tony Gigot running the show.
