Can anyone please explain why there is now no advantage played when one side knocks on and the other team rubs away with the ball. ?

We were away twice yesterday after a Batley knock on and he pulled us back for a scrum to us !!! I really don't know the rules on this

One of them was on the 5th tackle so it is an automatic handover. Unsure on the other one.

If the ref has already blown for the knock on they have to go back for it. Frustrating at times but they only have a split second to make the decision.

One of the things that really annoy me is when players clearly drop the ball backwards and refs still give a knock on!
