What are peoples thoughts and hopes for the coming season

I seen on another thread that people are predicting that Barrow will finish 3rd from bottom

I think that 5th from bottom is the target

Personally I think the top 6 will be written in stone ,can't look beyond Bradford,Toulouse,York ,Fev, Sheffield and Oldham .

After that anything could happen , I thought last season was tough but it's going to go up a notch .

I think barrow,Halifax, hunslet ,Widnes ,London and Batley could all conceivably be in bottom 4 and into the 8s ,but at the same time could finish far higher.

One tough league to call .

I think it will be a really hard league next year especially with one of the promoted teams being very strong. Hopefully with us mainly keeping our better players and the new signings gelling quickly we might be a bit more consistent. No announcement yet on who the 3 super league loan forwards are.

Think one of them played last season

Sure was said there coming from more than just Salford, so I won't be shocked if it's Pye from Salford and possibly a return of rothwell and maybe makin .

Makin did go to Bradford on loan but not a chance he will this season with the squad they've assembled

Its always hard to predict this league as so much squad turnover happens in the off season.

I feel we just need to focus on surviving again. If we stay up we have done well. Once we are secure in our position we can aim for higher, but it is going to be a tough league, potentially more so than last year. Especially with even more Yorkshire based clubs than ever in the league able to feed of the bigger teams scraps. We have seemingly signed well and have a few more coming on loan but as I understand the pot is empty after that... so if we stay relatively fit all season we should be okay

There will be one less Yorkshire club next year than last season - Wakefield and Dewsbury have been promoted/relegated, and have been replaced by only Hunslet from Yorkshire.

Another tough battle to stay in the Championship but one we should relish and get behind the team and the club.

Until we get some big investment from somewhere,I do not see us challenging for the top spots.

Lets make CP a fortress and we should be ok.

Up the Raiders!

Agreed. But we should be aiming higher than 2/3 from bottom. Lots of other clubs would love to be in our position (crowds/off field income etc)
