Anyone got Cleary this week? My sympathies. Suspect Munster might miss a game or two for his hip drop on Martin as well.

Started him and put the VC on him. He'll drop out of my team. Hoping Iongi goes big as he's my flex. I held Turbo after hearing he's out this week. Fingers crossed he's good to go against the Eels next week. My trades this week are Lucas>Haas via Big Red, Hopgood>Arthars via Lucas, Duffy>Starling via Smith.

Rumours also that popular choices Reuben Garrick and Fletcher Sharpe may be out this week. Apparently, both have partners due to give birth this weekend.

Haas is a must have.

A must have that I don't have, and probably can't get to next week due to RTS and other issues.

Sterling effort from my halfbacks and hooker this week.  Cleary, Sandon Smith, Metcalfe, Brimson & Grant have clubbed together to score a grand total of 88 points!

Where's the delete app button? 🤣

Injuries to Tommy Turbo, Skelton, Cleary and potentially Brimson to deal with as well. 🤦

You have my sympathy. However, as I'm playing you this week, not as much sympathy as normal. Sorry.

For me, its injury to RTS, Connor Watson's failed HIA, the magical consistency of Metcalf and a lousy captain's knock from Ponga.

Reuben Garrick has restored my faith in humanity.

Anyone else in the laughable situation where they have played someone twice and had his score removed from the team total by the new flex rule as the lowest scorer, whilst having got over 100 on the occasion that he was left as a non playing reserve? Step forward Luke Metcalf.

Disaster Round for me! If I had a round of cards in my hand I'd throw them up in the air in a fit of pique!

A lot of people are in your position. The next couple of rounds will be fascinating as people decide who to trade, who to keep, and who has to come in.

Points today, or cash for the future?

What to do with Cleary? Trade to Hynes? Metcalf to Campbell? Iongi to Papi? Boost two weeks running? Decisions, decisions.

I've decided to use a second boost, but not yet how. My Newcastle players have a bye, so coverage in the backs is a bit dodgy.

I think a lot of people are going to boost two weeks running. Injuries could prove a blessing to downgrade in one position to either grab a player for cash generation or bring a gun in. I've decided to hold Cleary. I can downgrade Preston (who has been underwhelming so far) to Nicholson, with his solid work rate and low BE, possibly move on Skelton with his injury to Tuipulotu with the start he's had and low BE too, giving me the opportunity to bring Hynes in for Smith, with Cleary out injured.

I've decided to lie down in a dark place.

What trades are you thinking of making this week? RTS out with an injury cloud hanging over him to Tuipulotu? Or even to Thomas Jenkins to free up cash to upgrade your 2RF. Cleary out is a bummer for you, with Duffy likely to not be picked this week. Duffy>Humphries? If Skelton's injury is bad then he could be another trade out to free up cash.

I haven't got Payne Haas and if I dont get him this week, it's unlikely he will be affordable until after Origin. I have to spend money at CTW with the injury to RTS and I would like a stronger hooker than Sandon Smith, with Connor Watson being under concussion protocols. To be able to do any of this I probably have to sell Ponga, but that seems a very backward step as I will want him back by Round 6.

Are you thinking Ponga>Gutho/Paris? Will that give you enough cash in the bank to upgrade to Haas?

Going Ponga to Gutho for cash and a reasonable number of points.

RTS to Kayal Iro as a set and forget CTW.

Watson on to bench in 2FR with Starling at hooker. Partly for cash, partly because he doesn't have a bye til 15 and partly because his scores to date have been quality.

RTS out, Duffy to Humphries are two of the three so far.

I meant Papi not Paris 😂 Gutho is a massive POD. Highest average so far. Projected to increase in price by approximately $108.5k. Iro is another solid POD. His base is eye-catching and already has four meat pies. Starling in Round 3 against Manly made 48 tackles in 53 minutes 🧐

I bought Iro relatively early last year, and he stayed in my team until the bitter end. Fingers crossed its the same this year!

Just worried about the fitness of both full backs, now.
