LUCKLESS Bradford Bulls suffered four more injuries in their 62-10 thrashing at Leigh Leopards.
Bradford have barely had enough first-team players to fill a line-up in recent weeks and things have got even worse.
Halfback Joe Keyes, who has missed most of the season with a back injury, had that trouble flare up again and came off at half-time.
Prop Loghan Lewis has suffered another knee injury, winger Ethan Ryan has broken a thumb, and back-rower Dan Russell failed a head-injury assessment.
That’s all in addition to Zac Fulton pulling out ahead of the match with neck trouble which is likely to see him miss the final three rounds of the season.
“I’m not sure at this moment in time if I’ll have 17 for Toulouse,” said coach Kurt Haggerty, who takes his side to France next Saturday.
“I’m asking far too much of them, and I’m playing blokes injured.
“It’s extremely difficult – you’re relying on a lot of things to fall into place to win games and it just doesn’t work at this level.
“Even when we’re down so many bodies, we can compete, but it may not be for long enough.”
Despite the scoreline at Leigh, he insisted nobody gave up, but said: “I thought systematically we failed, and in our technique in collision we failed.”
