SALFORD have agreed a new two-year contract with young halfback Lewis Pilling.
The 19-year-old came through the academy at the old Red Devils’ club before joining the reformed side in January.
He has so far made eight appearances, scoring three tries, including one in last Sunday’s 20-18 derby defeat to Swinton Lions in Wigan.
Pilling will get the chance to work alongside veteran playmaker Marc Sneyd, who is returning to Salford from Warrington Wolves, over the next two seasons.
Versatile back Jack Holmes also recently agreed a one-year contract extension.
