Riley Dean and Phoenix Steinwede to leave Bradford Bulls

RILEY DEAN and Phoenix Steinwede will both leave Bradford Bulls at the end of this season.

Halfback Dean joined the club in May from Oldham, registering eight appearances, one try and ten goals.

Australian forward Steinwede, meanwhile, has made seven appearances for the Odsal outfit, scoring one try, since signing in March.

Both are out of contract at the end of the current campaign and Bradford have opted not to retain them.

Head coach Kurt Haggerty said: “Riley and Phoenix both came in mid-season to boost our ranks when we were down on troops.

“We have always had open and honest conversations and I wanted to be respectful and give them enough time so seek alternate opportunities. I wish them both the very best moving forward.”

Dean and Steinwede join six others in leaving the Bulls at the end of the season: Guy Armitage, Chris Atkin, Sam Hallas, Joe Keyes, Dan Russell and Mitch Souter.
