he doesn't even rate john holmes as an all time leeds great....................god i hope saints batter them in the semi.

Yeah we've established he joined the sport back in 1996.

I was '97, I dunno who John Holmes was. And I've only heard of 'greats' by name. Does that make me a poor supporter?

Having being a ball boy in the CC final in 1983 I love it, to me it's the pinnacle of achievment in RL having more history than the GF which is a super league invention anyway, long may the CC continue.

top one, great final.

4 years later (87) i played for the Warrington School boys v's Leeds, Leeds won 10 nil (scum bags tongue.gif )
best thing about the day Saints got beat by Fax laugh.gif laugh.gif

CC for me is my pinnacle, but i say that having played there as a kid.

(ps, does that make you 38/39 by any chance wink.gif )

Boring!!

Reckon NE is more interested in fishing for real Leeds fans than anyone else.

Everyone who has ever followed Leeds RL/Rhinos would love to see us just get to a CC final. He's a tool.

A mate of mine from school played in the same game. He was from Holt Park. Think it was under 12's??

I know the gibbons twins well, used to play at the same amateur club as me, although a few age groups below me, very, very good players.

It's Anthony and David , they both played a handful of games for the rhinos, then played for Hunslet, Oldham and Batley, Haven't seen them for a while so don't know if they are still involved at any level.Hope that helps.
