Ian Millward has applied for the post of assistant coach with the Salford City Reds.

Hmm.

With McRae having 12 months to go on his deal, has Millward seen way in through the backdoor to take over as head coach?

Old news Wendall, there was a post here about 10 days ago.

That;s what happens when you paste stuff from the MEN.

Would Millward get a good salary for being assistant at Salford? He was rumoured to be on 100 K a year at Leigh.

He was on double that at Saints, plus bonuses for winning trophies

Head coach of the best SL teams in the noughties to assistant of one of the worst SL clubs of the noughties. That's a bit of a fall from grace!
