The time and effort you need to spend building a fan base in Tameside, Bill, you may as well put the same effort into Boundary Park. Decades of decay cannot be reversed overnight.

As it stands, we will jump from 6th to 2nd, with Midlands losing. Given the week it's been, that is pretty good end to the week. Barrow are a well drilled side.

Probably should have planned to have it somewhere warmer this time of year, somewhere like Benidorm....

The worry is that in play offs, the team that has an extended rest period is often undercooked. The extra week off could be a handicap.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it, and I hope the owners don't and resolve everything. I get that it is 3 years rolling. But on a basic level, how can 22,23,24 be worse than 21,22,23?
