Topics I've Started

I read a report that the winners in our final get £40K. Do the runners up get anything. Just asking so that Leigh aren't totally disappointed.

My mkemory isn't what it was but looking back didn't a Halfax supporter say that Poskitt and his mate had turned up at Halifax and had been laughed out of the club? I only ask as in today's League Express it states 'Off the field, former Featherstone chief executive Craig Poskitt is set to join  the club inm a commercial role'. Is the a repeat Castleford and Fev performance?

Watched Leeds and Wigan tonight. They were doing previews of the weekend games.One of the games was Cas v Wakey. The teams were shown and Annakin's name was listed for Wakey. Have I got it right? If so what will our team be this weekend?

Nosey Parker- League weekly

28 August 2014 - 11:55 AM

In this weeks League Weekly Nosey Parker makes the following remarks which I have para phrased:

'Bumped into Featherstone Rovers chairman Mark Campbell and his former CEO Craig Poskitt'-----

Poskitt said::

'To be honest I had tentative talks with twoi SL clubs and a Championship club with SLambitions. I have brought arouind a million quid into the game...

At the moment he is working for Bradford Bulls owner Marc Green as Sports Sales Sirector.

Food for thought ?

Every time I go on to the web site I get to the part I want and a b..... advert appears and then I have the devil of a job removing it and it always covers the bit I am reading. I will not buy anything that interferes with my pleasure. Is it only my computer or are other supporters having the same trouble? Maybe it's old age creeping on but it is getting right up my nose.
