Posted by frank on 06 January 2016 - 07:01 AM

What goes on  in the US shouldn't concern anyone in the UK

#3241520 Mount Pleasant.

Posted by frank on 01 December 2015 - 06:20 AM

While talking about Sheffield's new home, just had a look at the aerial shot of the Mount on the official page.Looks great! Not hard to see why it's classed as one of the best grounds In the  championship.Would have given anything to have seen a couple of games on  my recent visit, just missed the last game by a few days.Looking forward to the coming season and hope it's a good one for us all.

#3226521 The Passing of Kiwityke

Posted by frank on 03 November 2015 - 05:48 AM

So sad to hear about Richard he really was a nice guy.Only came back from the UK yesterday, after being away two months so wasn't aware of his passing. This has come  as a hell of a shock.

#3150805 What is the funding from the RFL next season?

Posted by frank on 01 July 2015 - 10:24 PM

I would have thought that the idea of funding  the championship would be that each club gets the same amount. In doing so, you get a comp were clubs can compete with each other on an equal footing.and help them keep solvent.

Looking at the video highlights, I would say the Dogs were unlucky to have lost against Fax.

#3066593 Auckland Nines

Posted by frank on 05 February 2015 - 09:08 AM

What a great experience watching the Auckland Nines.Great footy and a crowd that was really with it Really enjoyed it!Actually the game wasn't a sellout like I said.Around 44,000 attended the game each day, bad weather must have detered the roll up crowd both days. There was at total of thirty one games with the final being a really cracker. Got a couple of positive  comments on the Dogs jersey and if I say so myself I think it stands out well against all the Aussie and Warriors  jerseys.

#3049256 Match Report: Batley Bulldogs 18-16 Dewsbury Rams

Posted by frank on 27 December 2014 - 09:00 AM

The weather was fine. Just the usual winter nip in the air. The snow came in the evening. :-)

Pleased to hear that Andy. Was really warm here.

#3029286 Same old story I'm afraid....

Posted by frank on 08 November 2014 - 09:13 AM

- Cant handle the intensity physically or mentall
- Garbage kicking game
- Schoolboy errors under pressure

In addition, Smith is not an international standard half back.

Players do not look confident or fired up enough - that's about the coach - he has to go. All he has done is take is mediocre club coaching standards up to the international level.

Time for a rugged motivator - enter Shaun Wane

How are justified in your comment. That was a great game that should have ended in a draw.

#3000952 Halifax 0 Dewsbury 25 - discussion, report, highlights

Great result for you guys last Sunday.Be even better if you beat Leigh

#2942778 And just as Zak was getting his act together

Posted by frank on 11 June 2014 - 07:28 AM

You guys in the UK seem to be obsessed with the likes of homophobia and political correctness.Make no wonder the place is going down the gurglar and fast.Just hope it's still around when I visit next year.As for Hardaker he is far to slow for Internationals.

#2925764 Kear out

Posted by frank on 07 May 2014 - 08:04 AM

Buford, whether Kear has lost the dressing room or not,is debatable.Personally I think he is to shrewd for that.

We had a good run with Kear last season.Although we lost a lot of players from  last season we started  this campaign in great style.Although it's disappointing to lose games against the likes the Whitehaven, give the coach a fair go instead of bagging him and I bet things come right.

#2923974 02/05/14 - Leeds Rhinos v Wigan Warriors KO 8pm (Sky Sports)

Posted by frank on 03 May 2014 - 08:59 AM

One of the best games I have seen for a long time.Good to see the ball given some air instead of five drives and a kick,
