Seems destined to go from one crisis club to another. I'm sorry to see him go.

According to this the Times Rich List has him at £900,000,000.

IF this is true then £5 million would represent half of 1% of his wealth.( 0.55% )

If he had £400m of his wealth in the bank (unlikely) even at todays low interest rate, the interest alone would cover the debt.

Aussie dollars, not pounds.

In Topic: Rugby League World - Grand Finals Issue

I do wonder some times if any thought is given to the legibility of the printing of the magazine. I often have great difficulty in reading many of the articles because black type is very often printed on a coloured background. The most difficult to read I find is when the narrative is printed on a red background, I presume this is done to present a more colourful background, and to make the pages appear somehow attractive. I often have difficulty in reading many of the articles printed on coloured pages, and I find it most irritating to have to find a better light to read. I subscribe to a number of magazines where I find there printing much easier to read than Rugby League World.

I couldn't agree more, its bugged me for years. Its very poor design and I've many times been on the point of dumping it.

In Topic: RLIF reveals World Cup 2021 bidding process

They should be doing this sort of thing with the Four Nations as well I think. The RLIF would be stupid to risk the World Cup in an emerging country, but the Four Nations could work well, especially if the fourth nation is the country that has bid for it.

I thought the RLIF didn't have the rights to the Four Nations and it was the joint property of Eng , Aus and NZ bodies.
