I still have reservations about this system,but think it would be sensible to sit back and see how this pans out.I still think York are doing this mainly for their own benefit,but if it turns out to be really beneficial to Newcastle then all well and good. My main concern is if all SL clubs go down this route,I fear for the viability of Champ/League 1 clubs I have no knowledge of this but is there an official league and fixture list of SL reserve teams?

Apart from the gibberish above.Could you explain exactly what is wrong with the article he wrote.In asking this question I am obviously bowing to your vast knowledge and experience gained from running a Championship RL club for many years.

I don't profess to understand the problems both clubs had.However it seems lots of people bent over backwards to pull Salford out of the manure but they seem to get away without punishment.Rovers get no help whatsoever and get thrown to the wolves.Does'nt seem fair to me.My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all those Fev fans.

I agree with everyone on here that going to 14 next season was stupid.But this left Champ clubs very little time to sort out a 21 team league.Certainly no time for serious consultation process.Whatever system they came up with would have had some on here up in arms.
