  1. Yeah that’s a good idea. Gives the teams in the bowl something to play for
  2. It would be easier to include Lebanon in the Pacific Bowl with Fiji, PNG and Cook Islands
  3. I would like to see England take on France at the end of the season and then maybe even Samoa play France on the way too
  4. Don’t be a troll. I don’t want to derail a thread so I’ll leave it there
  5. What’s that got to do with me calling you out for what you were being?
  6. That’s a decent looking 17. If France put out a full strength team and give England a good game then this should be stuck with and built upon. It could have a big impact on the game in France. If would also end the ‘what to do mid season’ debate we always have on this forum as we will have found it
  7. Would it work better if they were split into West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside/Cheshire, Cumbria, London/SE, N Wales, S Wales?Split into 2 tiers
  8. I think the thing we all seem to agree on is that RL in the UK needs some kind of event. The NRL has Origin, RU has the 6 Nations, Cricket has lots of Internationals plus events like the 100. The RFL just need to organise something and put the time, effort and money into making it a success. I’m sure if there was a WOTR or a regional tiered competition, a series against France or a 3/4 N including England then if it is marketed well and bought into by the players and clubs then it could be built into something big
  9. If Wales were playing in big games and tournaments every year then some bigger name players might be convinced to commit
  10. Although they have chosen tier 1 countries I believe that Morgan Knowles, Tyson Frizell and Bradman Best are all eligible for Wales
  11. I think if done right the games would be great to watch but it would take a big effort to make it high profile for both players and fans. Ideally France, Wales and possibly Ireland need to be invested in and built up to offer England competitive fixtures mid season. If this had been done 20+ years ago then we might have a decent mid season tournament by now. Is it worth starting to make that happen now and being patient enough for France and Wales to become more competitive?
