JimbobRam
There's a article on the Rugby Am page on facebook, about the possibility about Sheffield sharing at our place next season haha. Mark Aston does not want to take then out of Sheffield and hopes to share at Sheff W or sheff utd. He's held talks with Mark Sawyer.
andyram
This would surly be the end of the Eagles if this was to happen.Fans would be down to 200/300 at the most. Can't blame Mark Sawyer looking at different incomes for the club, but would this work? Mind you we could stick that temp seating stand behind the posts that needs doing. No they only use us as leverage !!!
Wilsden Ram
I don't think that the rental that they would be willing to pay would cover another layer of Shale Scalpings!! The foundations required for even a temporary stand would be expensive. When all the other projects are completed around the ground and the Building Inspector's requirements have been met, then we can make a start on fundraising for work at the Bywell Road end. Might take a few years to complete though even to the level of the Eastern Terrace.
Blind side johnny
I can't really see any benefit to us from the Eagles being tenants. They would be ungracious payers (if they did) and constant complainers, even at the best of times. Bramhall Lane seems to be their preferred site but can't see the football club being interested. They do say that you reap what you sow! Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change. Blind side johnny
That's a very powerful crystal ball you've got there!!! Yes, sorry, i meant to say that it would be a delight to welcome the gracious and sophisticated Mr Aston and his retinue to our ground, even if we have to pay them instead. Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.
Sir Jekyll Stocking
That's a very powerful crystal ball you've got there!!! Well of course. If BSJ had cotton wool balls he's be a teddy bear. Here's hoping the Moderators are feeling generous today. Quid quid latine dictum sit altum videtur
