*** Please Note This round kicks off on THURSDAY 13th August.

 

All rounds 23 to 26 begin on the Thursday. Please note this well and don't miss out!

There's a full set of eight games again to tip this coming weekend.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round
 
ROUND 23 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition: 
Our regular poll comp looks at a different aspect each week. 
How many teams will score 25 or more points in NRL R23?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting. 

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 23

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R23?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition: 
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R23?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores are being added together as the season is progressing to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

Yes Barney, that home-brew internet system you rigged up with string, Home Bargains batteries and grass cuttings does have it's limitations. Still it was cheap.

I also like the look you have when you use it with your face mask on and those industrial gloves that you look at home in.

 

 

As for you being early ... well I'm shocked.

You are either supremely confident in your choices this week or are gung ho and impetuous.

Well with one game yet to be played in the round it's RF who leads the way with a perfect 7/7 so far with just the Sharks v Storm game to be played.

The majority of us have predicted a Sharks victory but RF, RLW  and Bourbon Rat have picked out a Storm win.

 

We've already had 5 teams scoring 25 or more points.

 

We've had 309 points scored in total to date and 4 home wins

Our top scorer with a vengeance this week is Rugby Female with a 100% correct round of tipping! Well done!!!

 

Points Total: There were: 341 points scored in this round. Closest to this and therefore our winner was Barney (+4)

The Home Win comp saw just one of us predicting 4 away wins: Rugby Female

Our Poll Comp winners this week predicting the the number of teams scoring 25 or more points (6) were Barney, Irish Saint, Southstander13 and G Las D (Rabbitohs, Broncos, Roosters, Sea Eagles, Bulldogs and Storm)

Congratulations to our fantastic 100% correct top scorer this week

RUGBY FEMALE

Our group strike rate was only 63/87 or 63% - is more respectable!
