MikeFletchersBarmyArmy
Some brain dead stuff at times, like not playing to referees whistle & letting the player run through. Was Faal injured again? as we have gone back to the centre wing partnership that didn't work for us at start of season. Wilson should have played if so. Plenty of brain dead stuff like Watson out of position for a kick through for their try, Near the end Duckworth chipping into their in goal area rather than a grubber resulting in a tap on 20 for them when there was only 5 minutes to go, agora catching ball & sliding into touch & yes why was Flanagan taken off? weighman
we Doncaster got away with a win yesterday, procession wise you had far more. You have a decent team but you have a bit of catching up to do.
Josh T
We were competitive ,All will be Aware that A WIN , slipped away . But , for me NO Shame .... When you are in recovery having something Nasty and Malign cut out of you ... Time is needed to Slowly build to Our former strengths . Coach and Players are Doing FINE by me ....... Penola
Dear Matt Bramald. You have 2 very creative players in Jack Lee and George Flanagan and yet they play half a game each. Play one at hooker and one at scrum half. We lack creativity near the line as proved yesterday where we should have had Doncaster finished in the first half. We need a Marchy and that can be Flanagan. Ansell and Thomas can be back up for them. Can you not see this? Give it a go. Both of them can increase our line speed where we lack swifness. Also our players just pass along the line without drawing their man. Plus put Barnett in the forwards as he makes a lot of ground. Him and Normington in the 2nd row would work well. Hawkwindbag
It's the 11th commandment at Hunslet - "thou shalt not have both hookers on the pitch at the same time". (The 12th is "thou shalt not demonstrate excess creativity or ingenuity at half-back"). Two points thrown away at the end of the day. There was only one winner in that game with 15 minutes to go but with Flanagan off the pitch again, we reverted to first-half tactics and performance and practically invited Doncaster over the line. Until the team formation and tactics out on the pitch reflect the game situation I'm afraid we will struggle to beat any of the teams above us. Unfortunately, I now make us short odds to be the lowest of the "traditional" clubs come the end of the season.
hunslet ramone
True Hawkwindbag , unless we can turn things round quickly . We have the players if the right team picked, we just don't do this. Still on a brighter note could watch Toronto next season , at home if not away.
