  1. The ideal scenario sees Old Trafford rebuilt. Ideally in that time we would go wherever Manchester United go - be that remaining at OT during redevelopment or the Etihad. I wouldn't be averse to a Cardiff or London final though that said. The loyalty to Old Trafford has been worth it, its arguably one of the sports few long term partnerships. This really hinges on Sir Jim Ratcliffe's ownership pushing the football club in that direction of redevelopment. If he can't get it going then there is going to come a point where it isn't good enough. I've sat in various parts of old trafford and whilst the bowl itself is very good, potentially the best in the country tied with Cardiff, the rest of the ground is really dire. Its very tired and the video on page 1 epitomises the state of things.
  2. Why would Myler be sacked for this? He's not coaching them and is spending money for next season already anyway. That's before we get to the politics behind his appointment to a senior role at Hull FC.
  3. What is most frustrating is these are, in the main, exactly the same problems from last season too.
  4. I wouldn't think so. I don't think anyone at Cas thinks he has the resources to compete.
  5. He's flipped him over to be piled down directly onto his neck with his head bent towards his chest. Alex McKinnon's life changing tackle was less aggressive.
  6. You don't think the professional organisation that is the NRL will give a toss what the professional global organisation IMG think despite them having conducted the single most in depth audit into the market the NRL are allegedly buying into ever?
  7. That's a very harsh red, but its the rules. Even in full speed it doesn't look great.
  8. It annoys me that its a penalty, but it would annoy me more as a Cas fan that the tackler was lazy and followed through anyway.
  9. I see totally the point you are making. Imo the future of any London clubs will be as hubs for wider southern/south eastern RL fans primarily.
  10. London Broncos moving to Wimbledon and simultaneously going Semi-Pro killed Skolars imo sadly. The state of the game can't be judged on these clubs alone, but looking at them it isn't healthy.
  11. Absolutely, it just shows how big the differences are though.
  12. Its really poor that a club like Halifax aren't paying a sum like that - it demonstrates the massive gulf between the operating level of clubs at their level and the full time game...
  13. Yeah I wonder if he'll switch sides or Sinfield will. Hopefully he bounces back from the disappointment of the past fortnight. I agree, just got to be a good performance here. Catalans are beatable, but we'd have to play well and rely on a meltdown from them as we have seen in the past. We do seem to be a bit of a bogey team for them too recently.
