  1. So close to Zak Crawley getting out twice in the same day
  2. You can easily see on the BBC website which regions it was on - The first Test was on not on BBC One in Wales - replaced by the national women's team playing football so fair enough - but it was on BBC Two instead. The second test was on every version of BBC One live BBC Sport - Rugby League: Internationals, 2025, England v Australia: First Test
  3. If it's through BARB, which I think it is, it'll be anyone who watched live on a TV or device these days (tablet, phone etc) or catchup the same day (catchup figures for sport very low). Doesn't capture people watching in public spaces - ie the pub. Isn't scientifically accurate either but it's the best we've got. Also worth throwing in that TV audiences are down significantly vs 10 years ago. People do watch for live sport of course, but only if they know it's on. Throwing things on BBC One and hoping people flick it on be default doesn't work so much these days. World Cup definitely has more of the "must tune in" factor.
  4. Yeah that bit is deliberate Almost every re-working I've seen online has been better than the Day One logo they seem to have launched - at least the good news is it is workable with a couple of tweaks, they just seem to have chosen a few bad colour combos
  5. Never mind usable across different platforms, they haven't even bothered updating the official website with it...!
  6. The shield makes it look poor in a small profile picture as you scroll through social media - not particularly optimised for that at all. It looks a bit "fan made" to me, be interested to know who worked on it. Agree sort of OK without the shield but could be way better
  7. Either on a livestream/stories/something similar, Mick basically went on a massive drunken rant telling Ralph Rimmer, the RFL etc to eff off. Think it was either after the "last game" at Odsal or the promotion playoff vs Workington.
  8. Nice idea, but the problem is there is a cost attached to that. The reason it's been easy to get the BBC on board is because they don't have to pay a penny in terms of match production costs since the move to 6 games a week - their only spend is presentation costs (so commentators, presenters and their far smaller set up costs in terms of broadcasting from the ground on the occasions they do go). It's a very cost effective way for a cash-strapped BBC to get some live sport - they aren't going to want to commit to produce an extra 26 games or whatever and accept the associated cost, especially when Sky have a contract that hinges on having every single minute of every single game. I suspect Sky will end up sucking up the costs, or they only show 6 out of 7 (unlikely but not impossible)
  9. Am pleased for York and Toulouse - both well deserved. The York fans especially must be on cloud nine. Have a soft spot for London, hopefully they have a really strong year next year
  10. They are taking the seventh stream from Mick Gledhill's Facebook page.
  11. Can't get Twitter on this device, but check John Davidson on Twitter
  12. I suspect if it's like yesterday it's an announcement at 10 online, and then the journos will go to/have a call with the relevant clubs later in the day
  13. Was announced yesterday 13 and 14 will get CF but only half what everyone else does
  14. See my post just above that one for a bit of a view on that. IMO - the ones who have been going in recent years, yeah you're probably right won't be bothered. It's your lapsed fans that will be hard to convince
