NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have added former Featherstone Rovers forward Danny Addy to their ranks.
Addy spent two years at Featherstone, both as captain, making 58 appearances.
But the 35-year-old, previously of Bradford Bulls, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils, was left without a club by Rovers’ fall into administration and subsequent removal from the Championship.
After that decision, Addy said on social media that he was “absolutely gutted that my time at Featherstone Rovers has come to an end – not in the way that anyone would have wanted.”
North Wales have now brought in a dozen new faces, including other players with vast experience in Greg Eden and Mark Ioane.
They’ve also lost ten in a tumultuous off-season for the League One champions, now under the charge of Dean Muir after Carl Forster’s departure as head coach.
