I get that but..... it just doesn't feel anything for me. I got more excited when we made the final of the Northern Rail Cup at Blackpool. But maybe I'm just weird

Well said @andyacko We are extremely fortunate to get the degree, and quality, of support that we do from Radio York. So it is important, as supporters, we recognise this on the usual social channels, etc.

Basic but functional. Covered stand is small and was full by the time I arrived 15 mins before KO. Standing elsewhere is restricted to one end so get there early if you prefer to watch the game from the side. A few pop-up stands doing beer and food. I paid £4.20 for a pint of Theakstons so no grumbles there. But the lady next to me said she had paid £25 for two hotdogs with chips which is a bit on the steep side. £15 to get in and fiver for concessions IIRC. When the rubble is gone and the redevelopment complete it should be a cracking little ground and, while I will always be a Knight first, I can see myself taking in a fair few games under the 'salt n pepper pots'!

Bounces back as an insecure link for me. Anyone else had more luck?

Can't argue with that one bit.

Salford financial issues(again…)

Rumblings on Twitter that this guy is the knight in shining armour. He's certainly come into some serious money! https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertolsen-1/2025/01/20/rugby-tycoon-sells-his-investment-firm-to-tdr-capital-for-12-billion/ -

Response to Salford Red Devils Statement •Salford City Council For those who haven't seen it. -
Many thanks @Gav Wilson

Plenty more than 1000 here. Full priced tickets and loads of one-off knights shirts sold.

Imagine Elvis would have been one, but struggling with the other.

A five figure crowd celebrating our great game at Christmas and keeping the boxing day tradition alive. A run out for both squads. And only in RL is there someone looking for the negative spin. I take my hat off to both Leeds and Wakefield and the supporters who turned out.

Play your best players where they play best. And Jubby has been in great form second half of this season. Let's let next season worry about itself and aim for play-off football this.
-
Bloody brilliant! Huge defensive performance with no one taking a single step back. This hit by Dagger and then his breakaway being the absolute chef's kiss moment
-
100% this. On Sunday just gone I mentioned to the other half how Jimmy was constantly talking to Brad. Brought his game on leaps and bounds and boy we're gonna miss him.

A little from box A and and a little from box B is probably closer to the truth. I've always been a big fan of Hendo and applauded the appointment. I also agree that he has been astonishingly unlucky with injuries but I did question some of the positional choices he made during the earlier stages of the season. But that's all part and parcel of being a fan - mulling these things over and trying to draw conclusions without ever really knowing the full picture. One thing is for sure - coaches, players and even owners come and go but the supporters remain.

£450k = roughly 10 positions or so, so the sums add up. Is IMG doing the work of 10 paid RFL staff......who knows? The RFL seem to be equally ineffective pre and post the IMG deal

He's obviously a knowledgeable guy and, on the face of it, made a success of the DoR role at Keighley. So, IMO at least, it would be a shame and maybe a mistake to think he has nothing else to offer the Knights. But, ultimately, it's not our club and we don't make the decisions. And the decisions Clint have made do seem to have had the desired effect. Onwards and upwards!

For flips sake we're doing it tough....again Need to wrap Ata and Sam in cotton wool for the rest of the season.
