  1. No idea what yawnion they have but they have NRL, State of Origin and will also be showing all the NRLW matches as well
  2. I struggled to watch the 1hr highlights. Other than being a foregone conclusion with little on the line, the commentary is absolutely dreadful, I can’t bear it. It’s worse than Terry O’Connor and Bill Arthur which says something. The amount of hype and how everything is ‘that’s an Origin run’, ‘a great origin play’ ‘he’s an origin player’. It’s just nauseating. They are rugby players, it’s not some superhuman type of football played on the moon. Johns is the worst, shame cos I really liked him as a player but he’s just a pr!ck. Dont think I’ll be able to watch it again unless they change commentators
  3. Attacking wise he is. Defensively he is a bit of a turnstile, even more so than his brother. However, he wasn't required to do much of that on Saturday. How many missed tackles did the Wests have? There were line breaks galore. Everything the NQ tried came off, but the Tigers were really loose defensively. Doesn't help that they feature a lot of small players, so difficult to control the ruck when the opposition is on a roll
  4. Makes it doubly impressive. Let’s hope it’s a catalyst for other teams in the midlands. Trailblazers
  5. Are there any other girls teams at that age in the midlands?
  6. Holbrook is certainly a good coach but defence is not his strong point and that was exposed in NRL. However his real undoing was the recruitment, which is unclear how much blame lies at his door. Things started to unravel when Fogarty left. He was the general and it’s no coincidence that the Raiders upturn in fortunes has coincided with him moving there.
  7. What was the cause of the large crowd at Salford? Did they have some initiative on?.................impressive to see
  8. What seemed unimaginable before the start of the season but York are in real danger of getting relegated to League 1
  9. The commentary is embarrassing, worse than sky. Johns is an idiot, not calling that tackle a hip drop when it was as clear as day. And they always churn out the nonsense about how it’s got the potential to be an Origin classic and then ended up being completely one sided. They’ve taken lessons off the other code in how to embellish everything I really don’t know what Edwards needs to do to get the nod over Tedesco who’s been so ordinary this season. And how Addo Carr only got a yellow for punching? Crazy The game got grubby because it wasn’t very close
  10. He's been very underwhelming. I always thought he filled in quite well for Manly but he's looked way off SL standard. A huge disappointment
  11. What sums it up, is that someone has started a go fund page for contributions to pay Josh Griffin's £1k fine. It's already a third of the way there
  12. Luai form has improved dramatically in recent weeks and he is now there on merit. I’d have been tempted to pick Reynolds alongside him because his form is outstanding and he such a good game manager
  13. I would expect it’s because he’ll benefit from training in a full time environment at Toulouse, whereas the Broncos are part time
  14. Why? He wasn't fit when he last played in SL
  15. You wouldn’t pick Tedesco on form! He’s lucky he’s the captain and has credit in the bank
  16. I think that’s the most likely scenario, not sure why there’s a need for some people to get personal about things
  17. Give up what? You claimed the club spent well under the cap and hadn’t tried to buy success. I provided evidence to the contrary. There’s nothing further to add
  18. "Mentally soft" Hull KR players savaged by chairman Neil Hudgell after Oldham's Challenge Cup giant-killing - Mirror Online Asked what Rovers - beaten finalists in last year's Challenge Cup - should be expected to achieve this season, Hudgell added: “A top-eight place – we spend to the salary cap, we should perform to the cap.” HTH
  19. That's a fair summation. His defence was the biggest issue for me, he was often exposed on the edge. He does seem to have improved in recent weeks but I'm not too disappointed he's leaving except for the fact we're not blessed for wingers
