Spurs & the Emirates aren’t really options for a GF though & the Etihad has 20k fewer seats & the viewing isn’t any better.

Given the AJ Bell holds 12k & 2 stands were virtually empty I was surprised by the official attendance.

Anfiekd was shocking,given the short time between the semifinals & GF it really needs playing close to the heartlands & if you factor in hotel availability & transport links etc you only really have OT & the Etihad.

Our little “friend” won’t like that.

To be fair that is the only televised game with a poor attendance & yes it did look awful on TV but the others games over the 2 rounds more than made up for it. Sky really shouldn’t be scheduling games at the AJ Bell on a Thursday night though.

Aging & in need of upgrading yes,shockingly bad,give over,the seats are no smaller than most sporting stadiums & I’ve yet to have a poor view since they knocked the old Stretford End down & made the stadium all seater.

He alongside fellow prop Fotuaika were superb in their first stints & led from the front in a dominant first half,like I said it wasn’t a sin bin. Foran was rubbish and his short kicking & poor pass led to 3 Broncos tries.

I do hope the NRL & the prophet are not getting too worried by these near sellout games.
