  1. Pleased for the fans. It is soul destroying watching rubbish every week. Also glad it isn't Salford that provided their first win.
  2. Steady on there! we all know Salford on their day are as likely to under perform look how many point Wakefield scored against us.
  3. This is a worrying development. In this case the injury seems to be a sports injury that for someone not a sportsman wouldn't be a concern. It worries me that there may not be insurance for life changing injuries. In many ways we have come a long way in player welfare but this seems so wrong. Anyone know what the injury actually is apart from "it's his ankle"
  4. If the charge was not proven then it would be assumed Charnley made it up. Reading the notes it seems clear he said something and "rat" seems unlikely. If he had made it a little more colourful in language maybe he would have been more credible
  5. Well I have done so through various supporters trusts in the past. I also agreed to my season ticket money during covid being used to fund the club rather than a refund. I am a season ticket holder even though it probably costs more than if I paid per game. I do this so the club has my money up front. Any other questions?
  6. I consider my share a donation. I am happy to do so.
  7. If you signed an agreement for a set time it is different. Bit like having a fixed mortgage and then the Mortgagee saying sorry I can charge more.
  8. I swear this Salford Side are trying to kill me. I was surprised to see the video ref used especially when he didn't check out the Sio incident. Hull's first try looked a mile forward from the stands. When it came to a 6 point lead I thought we had blown it. The drop goal was a smart move. Salford lacked composure, giving FC too much possession with daft passes.
  9. The situation is exactly the same as when he signed the extension. This is an agent stirring the pot.
  10. 2 and half years left, he only just signed a new contract. Disappointed more than shocked, not much has changed since he signed the extension it's timing that annoys me. Might explain his performance on Saturday though.
  11. Seems his agent has requested a transfer with 2years on his contract. Really dislike mid season requests like this. Seems only last week he was complaining about Leeds did the dirty on him and this is how he repays Salford.
  12. Well that was a heart stopper. It felt as if each team played for 20 mins at a time. Noticed something odd with the ref, he seemed to be on a satellite link wonder who made the calls?
  13. What does Operational Control actually mean though. Is this on their match days where they have some control over the sales within the ground. This seems to be the deal on offer
  14. You do realise they didn't mean his whole body fell in a hole don't you?
  15. Mike Coulman, he had the biggest legs I'd ever seen when I first started watching
  16. Oh look another thread about crowds without a mention of the 2 teams playing each other. How about this thread is just used for the outcome of the game, there must be hundreds of other threads about attendance.
  17. Moving the kick off will probably increase the crowd. Cats won't bring more than a handful and the football fans can attend and watch the final later. Also means the alert will be at half time.
  18. in 3 years this might be possible Etihad Stadium: Man City submit £300m plan to increase capacity to 60,000 - BBC Sport
  19. That wasn't what I meant ! For more years than I care to recall Salford fans have been told the team will improve when the pitches firm up. It's one of those along side "the training went well" and 2morale in camp is good"
